Aerial

Aerial is a sustainability platform that tracks and offsets the carbon emissions of individuals, enterprises, and blockchains for brands, artists, and everyday people.

I joined Aerial as a freelance social media manager, where I was in charge of the sourcing, creation, and calendar planning of daily content to distribute across their Instagram and Twitter accounts. This included coming up with a strategy that aligned with Aerial’s goals, developing new content franchises, writing scripts for Reels, designing social graphics, writing relevant copy, and community management.

Social Calendar

I created and executed a weekly content plan following existing and new franchises that added educational, humorous, and inspirational topics.

Copywriting

I followed our brand’s voice to create social media captions, bite-sized educational posts, Tweets, and Reel scripts.

Graphic Design

With the social media design templates provided, I was able to repurpose and update them for each post to keep a cohesive aesthetic while adding a fresh component to make the content feel new.


Emperifollá

I’m a co-founding member of Emperifollá, a digital platform focused on content about fashion and beauty for Latinxs and how they intersect with our culture. The brand was born out of the necessity we saw when it came to content that truly represented us, without being tokenized or put in a box.

Since the beginning, I took part in crafting the branding, creative directing campaigns, and developing the social media strategy. As their social media manager I was in charge of expanding and maintaining our online community, promoting our articles, creating original content, managing influencer partnerships, and keeping track of our performance.

People en Español

Founded in 1996, People en Español is the leading Hispanic magazine covering entertainment news, celebrity gossip, and fashion and beauty trends.


I worked as an editorial assistant to the fashion and beauty team, where I was in charge of writing stories on the daily basis, conducting celebrity and industry expert interviews, producing our sections for the print issue, and managing their fashion and beauty Instagram account.

Fashionista.com

During Fashion Month in February 2020, I was in charge of the social media scheduling of the articles featured on Fashionista.com. From writing the copy to selecting the images, I created different types of posts while making sure that all social media platforms reflected what was published on the site.
